Dedicated to Japanese Ghost Stories and general horror!

I've recently graduated from a university in the UK with a degree in Japanese Studies. Horror cinema, as well as ghost stories, folklore & urban legends are my main area of research. My posts are mostly going to consist of my translations of Japanese ghost stories & urban myths, most of which can't be found in English. I picked up the material whilst I was living Tokyo, from various books.
I lived in Japan 2009/2010, and studied Japanese at Keio University. I also worked as a groom at Tokyo Riding Club on a 6 month internship. I picked up a tonne of material whilst I was there :)
